»Who cares about connections, dude? We just got carried away by a whirlwind in a most Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz kind of way. I want to know where this tornado - Or do you call it hurricane? - brought us. Who cares about connections to that silly little city quiz of yours?«

»We travelled with a broken elevator through the advent calendar two years ago. Last year it was a cursed underground train. Both vehicles brought us from city to city. I was able to give the solutions the following day and the new quiz was also the next destination. I am afraid it will not work this way this year.«

»Why?« the llama asks eating more potato chips. »Let the whirlwind spit us out in each city of the previous day's quiz. Problem solved.«

»We won't be travelling by whirlwind«, I say. »And we won't be in Kansas anymore, Toto.«

»Then let the Tumnus open the stone-circle-gate to another city every day.«

»His name is Tumbleweed«, I say, »Mr. Tumbleweed, the faun, not Mr. Tumnus. Ever heard the expression plagiarism allegations? Do you want me to get into trouble? And we won't be travelling by magical gates, either. Portals would be perfect, yet too close to the doors of the broken elevator opening to a new location each and every day. Also we are on our way to Greenlion, the magical home of our black sheep. There is no place for exciting towns and places in that story.«

»And Greenlion is more or less exciting than … let's say … Babylon? Again, who cares, dude? You must have missed three or four solutions already without including the city names from the songs into the story of this year's advent calendar. Do you think that will make the readers of your BlockBlog dumber? Give the solutions in the comments as usual. And all will be fine.«
