Momon and Popon are Nanuk's parents, his mum and dad, his mother and father.
Momon's name is Aga. She's the best mother in the world, as far as Nanuk knows. She certainly is his own personal best mother. And her spiritual power animal is the white whale. She likes to watch it blending in when it swims to the point where the ocean meets the sky or when it dives deep down in the ocean.
Popon's name is Amaguq. And he is Nanuk's own personal best father. His power animal is the mighty polar wolf. More than once they were lying side by side listening to the white wolves singing in the pale moonlight when he brought his son to bed at night.
Today there are looks of concern on his parents' faces like dark clouds or shadows that they try to hide as they approach the snowy grounds where Nanuk is playing.
