The Colour of Time - Part 2

 

'That would have been the opening of a fairytale if this was a fairytale,' Dora thought in her huge fortified barrel while she was looking out of the window-openings in the barrel-boards following the rippled waters of the River Why downstream with her eyes.

It was the beginning of the last month of the year in the kingdom. And the great City of Earth was preparing for the Year's End Holidays once more. People and beings from all over the world came home to spend time and celebrate with their families and the ones the liked and loved.

And Dora of Wye - some called her the mighty and magnificent witch and sorceress - prepared to spend the Holiday all by herself, once more, with the colour Scarlet on her mind today.

And far away in the Scottish city of Paisley the bard and his animal companion sang another song about their hometown.

"Lenders in the Bromford"

A short delay, the parrot blues
Little voices mimic you
