On the first day after their encounter with Dora, the mighty and magnificent witch and sorceress, near the City of Earth and on the first day of their walking journey home to Bromford, the friendly town by the bay and seaside which luckily was also located in the High Mountains the llama asked, 'Who is Mark? And do you feel any different, maybe even better today?'
'Who is who?' asked Bromford, the bard.
'Love, Mark', the llama said, 'that is what you sang at the end of the song to Dora you sang yesterday.'
'I don't know, llama', the bard said, 'but I sang a song yesterday. And that is the most important thing of all. Now, let's return to the High Castle of Bromford. Everyone should be home for the Holidays. And home is where the heart is.'
'What are those things on your head?'
'What things?'
The bard tried to touch his head but all he could feel was his fuzzy hair that needed a nice cut once they had returned home.
'Yesterday I thought they were parts of that strange new hat of yours', the llama continued, 'but today they seem to come right out of your head. And your face looks kind of different today, too. Those circles around your eyes look like you had kind of a rough night last night.'
'Don't be silly, animal', the bard replied. 'I am feeling good. Let's just go home.'
And he started singing a song about Golden Girls and moonlight in the air and fish in sunbeams in eggshell seas.
Today is Friday, the 20th of December 2024
"Golden Bromford Girl"
Golden Bromford girl, female animal
Sings to the wind, resting at sunset
In a mossy nest
Sensing moonlight in the air
Moonlight in the air
Good clear water friend of wilderness
Sees in the pool her own reflection
In another world
Someone over there is counting
Fish in a sunbeam
In eggshell seas
Fish in a sunbeam
Eggshell finish
Nature's lover climbs the primrose hill
Smiles at the sky watching the sunset
From a mossy nest
As she falls asleep she's counting
Fish in a sunbeam
In eggshell seas
Fish in a sunbeam
Eggshell finish
As she falls asleep she's counting
Fish in a sunbeam
In eggshell seas
Fish in a sunbeam
Eggshell finish
