Klingon Bells … Part 16

'Hooperman?' the llama asks.

'Yes', I say.

'Member of the Revengers?' the llama asks.

'No', I say.

'But a member of the Liberty Initiative like Dadman?' the llama asks.

'Competing comic book publishers', I say as if that would explain anything. 'I am bored of Hooperman, to be honest.'

'Comes to the rescue at the end of the story?' the llama asks.

Nodding, I myself ask a question, 'Have you heard about that railway bridge in Scotland that has never seen a train in about one hundred years? It only exists because its' builder always dreamt of bringing the railway to his home village but he never succeeded.'

'Not even the Pigletspots Express passes?' the llama asks.

'Well, maybe it does', I have to admit. 'But you will never know, because you must know that the world of Thievery and Burglary is strictly hidden and separated from the world of us No-Steals.'

'No-Steals?' the llama asks.

'Non stealing people, of course', I say.

'Okay.'

The animal uses this word again and again and again…

Drei Kilometer bis zur Elbe

Drei Meter bis zum Telefon

Aber das wär' nicht das Selbe

Ich scheiß auf Kommunikation

Was mir fehlt ist ein Gesicht

Und ich wusste nicht,

dass Freiheit so allein ist

Wenn Du hier draußen noch ganz klein bist

Zwischen all der Euphorie

und sicher, besser ging's mir nie

Fällt mir wieder ein, woanders bin ich wer gewesen

Hier muss ich irgendjemand sein

Drei Minuten bis zum Hafen

Drei Jahre noch bis irgendwann

Nur ein paar Tage noch zum Schlafen

Dann fängt irgendetwas an

Was mir irgendwas verspricht

Und es sagt mir in's Gesicht

"Es ist schön, dass Du dabei bist"

Und doch fühl' ich mich wie ein Schneemann

Dessen Lieblingsmonat Mai ist

Zwischen all der Euphorie

und sicher, besser ging's mir nie

Fällt mir wieder ein, woanders bin ich wer gewesen

Hier werd' ich irgendjemand sein
