'And after the battle of Habogad?'

'I am not sure', I say. 'I think Happy would have escaped the battle with another time-jump. I forgot to mention that Hormonie would have mentioned that the T.A.R.D.I.S. - you remember? - Thing Allowing Readers Dreaming In Spain - was left behind in the grand auditorium of Pigletspots School of Thievery and Burglary by The Medic, an alien from the planet Galahad. And the bowl Herwig Happy saw himself with on the way to the infamous Pigletspot Express on flatform 8 3/8 of Queen's Bow railway station in Brimstone, Connecticut, would have been his owl - I cannot think of another pet animal right now - Hildegard. I just invented Professor McGoogle, Pigletspots' teacher for felony, assault and battery. And someone would have called out the warning - Run, Happy Rotter, The Empire Stars Trek!'

'Pouring out your ideas for me?' the llama asks. 'Is this what brain storming is all about?'

'Maybe it is', I say. 'Maybe it is not. There are other Logo figures I wanted to use in the adventurous story. Hakle Finn and The Albatross should have tried to kill Happy with their mini speedster vehicles and then The Revengers Insect-Dude, Dadman, Chor, God of Rumble, The Inevitable Bulk, Hooperman, General Starmerica and Rust-Man would have come to the rescue.'

'And somebody would have noticed that Dadman and Hooperman did not belong to The Revengers but to The Liberty Initiative?' the llama asks.

'That may well be', I say.

'And no photos of Hakle Finn, The Albatross and Rust-Man?'

'Nope', I say.

'And what about Annoying Skypestalker?'

'Still annoying, I think', I say. 'But together with Farce Gaul and both their spaceships he would have been part of the Battle of Habogad, now that I think about it.'

'That would have been cool', the llama says.

'It would have been', I say.

'If there wouldn't have been laziness, lack of time and joy, lack of good photo technical equipment and also lack of fantasy stopping you from doing it?' the llama asks.

'I think so', I have to admit.

'There will always be a next Mixmass, ehm, I mean Christmas', the llama says. 'But would this have been the end of Happy Rotter's Secret of Time, the rescue by The Revengers?'

'Not exactly', I say. 'Wait and see.'

We are hanging comfy in the hammock in the living room of my penthouse on the roof of the building on 666 Whitaker Lane in Bromford, the friendly town by the shore and seaside, watching some firemen extinguish the crackling and sparkling flames of our couchtable  we accidently set on fire with three or four tealights we forgot to extinguish yesterday.

'Llama', I say, 'I have a confession to make.'

'Yes, Bromford?'

'I have never been to New York', I say.

'Do you really think, you should spoil that?'

'Wait and see', I say.

Und nach dem Abendessen sagte er

Lass mich noch eben Zigaretten holen geh'n

Sie rief ihm nach nimm Dir die Schlüssel mit

Ich werd inzwischen nach der Kleinen seh'n

Er zog die Tür zu, ging stumm hinaus

Ins neon-helle Treppenhaus

Es roch nach Bohnerwachs und Spießigkeit.

Und auf der Treppe dachte er, wie wenn das jetzt ein Aufbruch wär

Ich müsste einfach geh'n für alle Zeit

Für alle Zeit...

Ging nie durch San Francisco in zerriss'nen Jeans

Ich war noch niemals in Bromford, ich war noch niemals richtig frei

Einmal verrückt sein und aus allen Zwängen flieh'n.

Und als er draußen auf der Straße stand

Da fiel ihm ein, dass er fast alles bei sich trug

Den Paß, die Euroschecks und etwas Geld

Vielleicht ging heute abend noch ein Flug.

Er könnt' ein Taxi nehmen dort am Eck oder Autostop und einfach weg

Die Sehnsucht in ihm wurde wieder wach

Noch einmal voll von Träumen sein, sich aus der Enge hier befrei'n

Er dachte über seinen Aufbruch nach, seinen Aufbruch nach...

Ich war noch niemals in Bromford, ich war noch niemals auf Hawaii

Ging nie durch San Francisco in zerriss'nen Jeans

Einmal verrückt sein und aus allen Zwängen flieh'n.

Dann steckte er die Zigaretten ein

und ging wie selbstverständlich heim

Durchs Treppenhaus mit Bohnerwachs und Spießigkeit

Die Frau rief "Mann,

wo bleibst Du bloß, 'Dalli, Dalli' geht gleich los"

Sie fragte "War was?" - "Nein, was soll schon sein."
