Bromford and Phoenix …

 

»Bromford,« the llama says. »Dude, is it my turn now to ask what is happening here? Are you trying your carnival costume? What kind of superhero do you want to be this year? And are you mixing up your endless series of posts in this boring blog of yours? Phoenix is a city - the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Arizona. So will you force us to listen to or to guess a song about a city called Phoenix just to find out that the whole song is not really about a city of the name Phoenix?«

»Ah, leave me alone, animal,« I answer. »I will not wear that costume this year. I am not in shape and it is simply too tight in certain areas - which are all areas of my plump body, to be honest. The Phoenix is an immortal bird in ancient Greek mythology and so it is very unlikely that he will become my new animal companion. Also he would not fulfill the strict fire protection regulations of the apartment building on 666 Whitaker Lane in Bromford, the friendly town by the bay and seaside. That is kind of sad because I already had the perfect name for this firebird. I would have named him Fawkes - Guy Fawkes to be precise.«
