Bromford's Arc - Part 15 - 12:13 a.m.

Apartment 12 - Seventh Floor … and we go from door to door.

'So, I myself came to Bromford City when I was 2 ½ years old. And what is your excuse?' I ask Lizzy and Laszlo Llama from apartment 12 on the seventh floor.

Are they related? This thought crosses my mind for a second.

'But, Bromford', Kylie intervenes, 'that is not true. You and I grew up together in a small village in Greenland near the Polar Circle. Our families sent us away to a boarding school to the mainland when we were six years old. After highschool and before college you took your time off and hitchhiked through Iceland. And that is when we lost contact until some not so long time ago.'

'You told me', interventions are llama's area of expertise, 'you moved to Bromford, the town that is called like the man, in 2007 or 2008 only a short time after you left some kind of cult that called itself something like Hobby Philosophers. And 2007 or 2008 you were not 2 ½ years old.'

'Spoilsports', I say.

And way down we go …

"Jeffrey Goes To Bromford Square"

Bright city woman
Walking down Bromford Square every day.
Gonna get a piece of my mind.
You think you're not a piece of my kind.
Ev'rywhere the people looking.
Why don't you get up and sing?

Bright city woman
Where did you learn all the things you say?
You listen to the newsmen on TV.
You may fool yourself but you don't fool me.
I'll see you in another place, another time.
You may be someone's, but you won't be mine.
