G abbles …

»Feels like a dog ate my homeworks«, Nigel says still mourning.

»More like a black sheep ate our treasure map«, the llama adds kiddingly.

»Focus, please!«

Claude Sideburns is putting his hands on his temples as if this would help him think or prevent his thoughts from escaping his head and brain.

»So, again, how many stars are there in Ursa Minor?«

»I would say six«, Kylie says.

»The answer is never six«, the llama says. »The answer is and always will be fourty-two.«

»What is Ursa Major?« Nigel asks.

»Aren't you the college student in this group?« the llama asks. »The only one who is kind of an academic here?«

»Hey«, Kylie complains, »I have got a master's degree in Comparative Literature.«

»And you almost became an archaeologist's assistant, we know«, the llama says. »So, what is your main subject at college, Nigel?«

Nigel's answer is almost whispered, »I haven't decided, yet.«

»After all this time«, Kylie sighs.

»Mom!«

»Ursa Major«, Claude Sideburns, the man who is not a professor for archaeology, starts to explain, »also known as the Great Bear, is a constellation of stars in the northern sky, whose associated mythology likely dates back into prehistory.«

»Another cup of tea, dear?«

Housekeeper Hildegard is approaching with a tray with a steaming teapot and some cups.

»For you and your friends?«

»Not now«, Ma, Claude says.

»Ma?«

We are all looking at each other.

Bored of the life in the City of Gold
He'd left and let nobody know.
Gone were the towers he had known from a child,
Alone with the dream of a life
He travelled the wide open road,
The blinkered arcade,
In search of another to share in his life.
Nowhere.
Everyone looked so strange to him.

They've got no horns and they've got no tail
They don't even know of our existence.
Am I wrong to believe in a City of Gold
That lies in the deep distance, he cried

And wept as they led him away to a cage
Beast that can talk, read the sign.
The creatures they pushed and they prodded his frame
And questioned his story again.
But soon they grew bored of their prey
